Back before I moved most of my stuff to Macleworks (Appleworks for the
Mac) I used AppleWorks GS extensively, mostly the word processor and
page layout parts of it. Other than having the WP part loose the
formatting occasionally (which prompted me to save several versions
of most files) I didn't have any problems with it. I did also make
some use of the spreadsheet and drawing part of it, but it wasn't
too often. And for the most part, it stayed pretty stable for me.

I thought the postscript versions of the HP II's emulated a Laserwriter.
Could be wrong though. You could also get Harmonie from Joe Kohn.
It has drivers for a lot of HP printers.
