Re: Q: Error msg. booting System 6.0.1 - Bad RAM?

Thank you for your input!

I've searched my Focus drive, but cannot find any switches at all on the
card itself! The card is marked Computer Circulation Systems" and
][ infitum" A Toshiba brand HD is mounted on the card.

I do not as yet run an accelerator card on the unit!

--> The RAM card is of brand 'AE RAMCARD Plus' with three rows 16 RAM
chips ( 48 chips total).

--> I tried to downsize the card by removing 1 and 2 rows of chips, but
this did not seem to have any effect on the unstability.

The machine boots but goes into a freeze after 1-2 minutes of operation,
sometimes signalled by a beep.
