In my never ending quest to find unique methods to port QuickTime movies, GIF
animations and/or virtually any other platforms animation files to allow them
to be viewed and played on the Apple IIgs - I've come up with a solution to do
it.
This method requires that you have the use of a Macintosh and/or a PC with the
two
programs - QuickTime Pro and Debabelizer v3.0 - in order to do it with the
method I've outlined in the text files within the URL folder noted below.
I've never actually done any such conversions and ports of any animation files
using the PC yet - but, both programs I have done it with on the Macintosh are
also available on the PC platform - so, I see no reason why the same method
couldn't be used by PC users for porting and converting ANY type of animation
files for viewing as PaintWorks animation files on the IIgs.
Check it all out for the method, IIgs program archive and examples.
