Hello. I just recently aquired an Apple IIc Plus and I'm trying to get
programs running on it. I have a copy of the Apple II System Disk v3.2
from Apples web-site. It's a 3.5" disk with ProDOS 8 v1.9 on it. I
download some files for the Apple II from various FTP sites to my Mac,
namely an image of DOS 3.3, DSK2FILE, SHRINKIT, and BINSCII. I
attemted to get them to my Apple II by formatting a ProDOS disk on my
Mac running System 8.6 and then copying them to the disk. They ended
up on the ProDOS disk with the file type of "$00" as unidentified
files. I then found a copy of ProTYPE for the Mac and attemted to get
the files to my Apple II by first passing them through ProTYPE and then
copying them to the ProDOS disk. I still ended up with "$00" files
that the Apple II does not seem to work with. I'm pretty much out of
ideas here. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!
ROB.
