Ok, when I do PRINT FRE(0) I get -18435 returned which from the above
posts means I have 48k RAM on the motherboard.

So, that means I do have enough memory to transfer DOS3.3 - so what
else could be wrong with the transfer if we've eliminated a corrupt
transfer and memory problems?
