Byte Bastard BBBs
This was a BBBs in NJ, there was talk that they were going to archive
alot of the apple 2 on to a CD. I am curious if they did this and how
they went about it?
Was it readable off a IIgs, or were these compressed files for a Mac
that could be uncompressed from the IIgs?
I was wondering if you saving a full floppy disk, 5.25 or 3.5 to a
zip, jaz, syquest as a folder to a partition that is formatted in a large
HFS partition can you bring the folder that is a disk back to a disk?
I have been told that files get larger when you put them in a large
HFS partition, but will they return to there original size again when
you move them back to a floppy? With HFS+ they do not grow in size, but
the IIgs can not use HFS+ from what I have read.
Is Prodos the only way to go when partitioning?
Thanks
