You can get started by downloading and transferring DOS 3.3. Download
dos33.zip from ...

Ground
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/apple2/upl2000/Mar/

GS WorldView
http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/v2000/Mar/index.html
(Click on "Transfer DOS3.3".)

UnZIP dos33.zip using WinZIP, and follow directions in dos33dmpinfo.txt
for getting DOS33.dmp to your IIgs. To do the transfer you will need a DD 5.25"
diskette, a high-speed IIgs modem cable, and a NULL modem adaptor.

For information about the modem cable and NULL modem adaptor, see the FAQs
at http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2T1TCOM.html .

Places to get a IIgs High-Speed modem cable

InTrec Software (888-PROTERM; http://www.intrec.com )
MC Price Breakers (360-837-3042; http://www.mcpb.com )
Sellers of Mac supplies (IIgs cable is same as mini-8 Mac modem cable)

Places to get a NULL modem adaptor or cable

MPJA/ Marlin P. Jones (800-652-6733; http://www.mpja.com )
Radio Shack and other computer stuff stores

Once you have DOS 3.3 going, you can transfer ADTgs and use it to transfer
getting started software (plus lots more) available on .dsk disk image files.
(Info about getting and using ADT is available in the FAQs page mentioned
earlier.)
