Now that is a load of crap!  I've been to delphi a few times, posted
messages, etc.  Been to the chat rooms.  There are some nice people
there, lots of developers, but it is a tight click.  I've had some
really rude things said to me in chat (both on the main screen and in
private messages) and I've received extremely rude emails in response
to posts to Delphi.


I've tried to get help from certain Delphi members (they are THE ONLY
ones who can help in certain problems I am trying to solve, and they
know it), and they say they want to help, but never do (IE rare
software I would like).

Delphi is where people like Quantum_Cat hang out.  Go pop into a chat
room some day and listen to all the delphians exchange homosexual jokes
and call people names (guess who they make fun of).  I've been to
Delphi a2 chat several times and I have witnessed this (I even cut the
text from the chat window thinking I may post it here some day so you
guys can see what Delphi is like)  Try to ask a question in Chat and
you have to sort through all the crack-smoking-fag jokes to get your
answer, if the other chat roomers bother to stop laughing at their
stupid jokes long enough to answer you.

Yeah, go to delphi and get away from this, like everybody else does,
and then have a good old time reading the same old crap, same old
jokes, and an unfriendly click-y atmosphere.

I call "JOE KOHN" "mister", respectfully, and get jumped on.  There is
a thread called "MR KOHN somethingrather" on Delhpi, and nothing has
been said.  Somebody probably got a nasty email.

Yeah, good programmers and developers. That is the only reason to visit
Delphi.  If you want to get the latest info on software like Spectrum,
Nifty Spell, etc.  The programmer group is ok too although it is more
dead than our programmer newsgroup.

Try to suggest one thing that is not a ritual in their religion, and
they will chase you away.

The super GS thread on Delphi:  "Yeah, right.  It'll never happen"
(posted by the delphians)

Anything new, people thinking of making new hardware, etc.  "Yeah
right, it'll never happen" ""

Have a laugh reading this, Delphi-folk.  I know a few of you still come
over here once in a while.  But you might need some asprin later,
because the truth hurts.

It's just like the town I live in.  It is nice, pine trees, old-towne
main street and all the shops have fake fronts on the roof to make em
look two story, a horse drawn carriage taxi service will take you where
you want to go.  Nice to pass through!  Move here and realize there is
more than meets the eye at a glance.  The town I live in is down right
nasty, although if any of the readers here ^^passed through^^, I am
sure they would think I am crazy for thinking so.

Don't take my word for it, go and hang out on Delphi.  Quantum_Cat
posts under his real name there, and only tells his stupid jokes and
calls names in chat, not in the forum where they'd be deleted .
