There are adapter sockets available.  They plug into the
0.6 sockets and the 0.3 chips plug into them.  ;-)

Jeff Blakeney provided all the sources a few weeks ago.
You might want to scan DejaNews for his post or just
email him for the information.

If I remember correctly, DigiKey is the company that
sells the adapters.

This is far less risky than modifying the Zip to directly
accept 0.3 chips.
