First of all I would like to express my sincerest thanks to everyone
who assisted me in the initial setup.

You guys were right, I did not need the cable with the adaptor. As I
was cleaning the innards, as per the suggestion of one of you, I found
another cable under the one with the adapter, that cable was somehow
tightly wrapped intoio a coils and I did not notice it. it was the
video out cable, I connected it to the monitor and voila, there it was.


Very impressive boot-up time, I have to say, less than a second?

Anyway, now what?

I have the empty screen with the Apple ][ logo on the top,
control-reset brings up a command line.

What can I use this old baby for?

Someone suggested that the 2 externla drives might have been exchanged.
(Drive 2 whirls when the comoputer starts up). Is it necessary to fix
that? Can I connect it to a Personal laserwriter NTR?
