As others have mentioned there is the Second Sight card that might be
difficult to track down.

Another option would be to try one of the scan doubling devices that
are available.  There is one or more such devices that I've heard
about for use with the Amiga to allow it to use monitors that can only
sync down to a horizontal rate of 31 KHz.  The Amiga's video signal is
very similar to the IIgs' so this should work.  However, I have yet to
hear of someone using one of these devices with a IIgs.  Someone has
to be first, though.  :-)
