C.ABLE B.OX spams-- time for .ru/.su USENET Death Penalty?

     So far, all of the .ru and .su sites spewing this spam seem to be acting
like they can not receive abuse@ email. Evidently, sites in this area believe
that this makes them immune-- a pretty good reason for a year or two of
wiping the entire region from USENET access.


     A suggestion is to move up the chain and email abuse complaints to
abuse@newsfeed.gamma.ru .

     A different tact is to examine the message content and notice the
numerous references to Radio Shack. In fact, despite the disclaimers, this
spam looks like a Radio Shack commercial. So, it seems correct to email a
complaint to 

abuse@radioshack.com

and let Radio Shack do something about having its name associated with spam
dumps.
