Bite me, freak. Lately I've come to realize that my efforts have been... shall we say... less than
effective. So, that in mind, I've turned my attention from Turdley and his toilet-bowl floating Turlettes
to another aim... The destruction of the Apple II community, once and for all.

It's clear that the pirates aren't going away, as long as there's a dead carcass from which to feed. If we
drive the developers away for good, the pirates will have nothing left to steal, and will soon follow
them into extinction. Then, maybe, we can begin again - with a community WE want, free to grow in
the way WE, the morally pure and right-thinking users, see fit.

So, call it what you will; call it "selling-out"; call it "sinking to their level" - whatever. One thing is
clear; the old saying has sadly, finally, come true: to cure the cancer, sometimes you have to kill the
patient.
