Because I'm a minister, and I *need*, at times, to quote from original
texts, and transliterated Greek or Hebrew is "ichy" at best, and, to me,
is somewhat confusing. So, I'm merrily going along in WordPerfect typing
in English, I cut and paste from my Greek New Testament or my Hebrew Old
Testament, and proceed. When I was in grad school one of the profs
switched to Macs from a PC for just this ability. When I finally
upgraded from my turbo XT to a 486 I bought new theological software
that could do this neat trick. It saves alot of time, and allows me to
use that time in a more productive way.
