How about an e-mail from Howard himself? (Complete text available upon
request.)
"I'm aware that one or two may not be the current versions, but they were
all that we had to work with. "
I expressed my concern about this to Mr. Simonsen, and he gave me permission to
release my copies of his and the Beagle Bros products and manuals. He also said
to contact the individual programmers of the TimeOut series, which I had
already done (or they contacted me).

your list aren't that overwhelming.
I'm not aware of any archives, but the people seem to enjoy it. Sometimes the
interest that people have surprises me, too.

I wasn't aware that mentioning the mail group in any public forum bothered
anybody or that it was breaking any rules. I wish they had said something to me
at the time. I believe that many people kept their Genie account longer than
they normally would have because of the e-mail. It was a way of bringing the
programmers (who had left Genie) back to the people and giving them support.
We also have many Delphi people now. They are welcome just like anybody else.
There isn't anything private about it, it just links people from all services
and countries and addresses. Some of them have no other contact with other
Apple II users. If you don't like it, then don't join. {shrug.} We can't worry
too much about what others think.

I don't use a pseudonym here, do you? Does Howard? I don't think I'm the one
with the problem...
