Look what i found in the trash! :')

i am a subcontractor for a local pc place (i work on their mac stuff)
and they asked me if i wanted this old IIgs andd stuff they had
so i said sure, i figured i already had a gs but maybe it had
something useful in it i could scrounge before i ftgh'd it...
WOW it was packed! it has a hand scanner card, cms scsi card (i got
the external drive but it bit the dust between the time i plugged
it into my mac to test if it was still alive and the time i was able
hook it up to the gs (4 days), a AE ram card (it has 2megs but empty
sockets to go to 6megs, an apple ram card (1 meg but fully populated
and soldered to boot! (looks factory wave soldered) a AE 'RamKeeper'
card with a slot expander out one side (with the AE ram cardd) and
another little adaptor with the apple 1meg ram card (i ditched and
added the 44meg gs-ram plus card i already had), also had a little
card that has a 6 pin connector with a headphone jack out the back
and connects to the fan power conn, and an internal 2400 baud modem,
and last but not least a transwarp gs @7mhz with 32k cache....

i thought it was a nice find.... but a few qquestions if nobody
minds.... (i came from an atari in the 8bit ddays ;')

i am using my zip drive as a hd for the cms scsi card (v1.8)
is there any real side effects to using it (i assume removing
the disk while booted is a no-no but still an acceptable limitation)

the ae ramkeeper card i am guessing is a card that keeps the ram
refreshing even when the machine is off (it has a power conn on the
back but i dont have the p/s (specs?)) is this correct?

what is the card with the headphone jack for? it wasnt connected to
anything i could see (the large conn i mean the small one was hooked
to the fan conn on the m/b) it has an ic and several caps and res's

second to last, i have a ae 'hd+' any details on it? i am guessing it
is a fdhd drive, but i know a few 3rd party floppies for the mac plus
had electronics built in to let them use hdfd disks (non-booting
only...) is this similar for the a2?

lastly, the 800k floppy i got with it wouldnt eject so i replaced
the mech with a spare from my 'pile o macs', is this a viable fix
(as a 800k drive only)?

any other info imparted to me would be appreciated...(also it is a
rom 01 machine...)

thanks,
sloopy.
