That's kind of funny as I got my first IIe (64K, unenhanced system
with Apple Monitor II green screen and a single Disk ][ drive with
controller) at the Canadian Forces Exchange Europe department store at
Canadian Forces Base Lahr in Germany on the 22nd of October, 1983. It
cost me, well my parents intially but I paid them back over a few
years, DM 3600 which worked out to about $1600 CDN at the time.
