Why not? I've used them...I don't like them. The Mac OS isn't
perfect, but from my personal experience, it's better than anything
MS has put out.
On my Mac, things work...having dealt with Windows stuff with my
Mom and with a friend (I recommended my Mother buy a Gateway, not
a Mac...the PC fit her work much better) there's been a number of
problems. I've gotten my Mom straightened out but then haven't
had to install anything new in 3 months...
My friend on the other hand is always buying something new and
installing it (software wise). He often has something break
because of that. I've installed a lot of stuff on the PowerMac
I've had for a month now...everything's always worked. I want
a computer, not a hobby.
My personal opinion is that you get the computer that you want
and that fits your needs best. Personally for me, that's a
Mac. I use it, it works, nothing's been going wrong except
for Netscape on occasion which always seems to have had problems
and the developmental version of ICQ I'm using, which you'd
expect on software like that.
