Little off topic ...
I used Ventura Publisher on a Tandy 1000A (8088 XT class), which used GEM. I
did not multitask, but it never seemed sluggish at all. Postscript printing
via GoScript was really slow of course. Resolution on a CGA screen was bad,
but you could sill function.
