   Be VERY careful about putting all the RAM chips in sockets on a //c.  If I
remember correctly, there are a couple of chips underneath on of the edges of
the floppy drive, that if you put them in sockets, it raises the chips up just
enough, to short out on the drive.  The aluminum part of the drive frame rests
between two of the RAM chips, and raising the chips can cause the frame to
touch the pins of the RAM chips in question.  They are MRD6 and MRD7.  I just
looked inside a //c for the first time in probably 7 years.....
