I'm pretty sure he does seeing as Animasia is now a shareware program.
You could always try sending him snail mail to find out if his e-mail
address changed or if there have been problems with his server.

The shareware notice in Animasia lists the address to send shareware
payments to as:

     Michael Lutynski
     1802 Bluebird Road
     Glendora, CA 91741
     USA
