I had a Rockwell CPU in mine (might still have one). I never had compatibility issues with it. Software that used the undocumented behavior of illegal 6502 opcodes most likely won't run right on any 65C02. I've only heard of some people having used these opcodes, though, and couldn't name any titles. Nothing I've ever run used them.

No adapter needed...a 2732 works as-is.
