It would probably be difficult to patch it without creating more
problems. It could possibly be ported if the author would be
willing to part with the source. Even the source to the shareware
version would work.
On the other hand, it shows that it is possible to create a
browser for the GS, plus the GS could handle graphics (in a
limited fashion) should the user desire.
Again, I think this would be a community project, created in a
manner similar to the various Linux programming projects. This
way people would not have to dedicate all their time to this one
particular application. As a plus, those who can't program can
still participate as there will be the need for documentation and
distribution, etc.
