Hi Jeff,

There are other advantages to online purchase/download. No
shipping is required which reduces the cost of the product. This
also helps the seller by reducing the number of shipped packages
and possibly the number of trips to the post office. It also will
save on the quantity of media (disks or cdrom), thus saving the
distributor this extra cost, which can go back into the
companies (or developer's) profit. As a purchaser of several
programs using this method, I find it works very well.
