Well you can always import your TV sets from Europe. You do use PAL,
625 lines 50 frames/sec, don't you?

OK. Here there are even VCR's which send their output to only the SCART
connector, i.e. if the TV lacks a SCART connector, it cannot be used on
that VCR.

One thing that's getting quite common here in Europe are VCR's which
are able to also playback NTSC video tapes on a PAL TV. How common
in the USA are VCR's capable on playing back PAL video tapes on NTSC
TV's?
