Never heard of "scart." S-video uses a mini-DIN-4 connector (same type as
ADB).

No, it's separated composite, with luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) carried
separately (as opposed to the usual composite signal coming out the RCA
jack, which has these two signals squished together).

I don't know about simple, but there's a gadget called the Video Turtle
that's supposed to do this. I think it goes for about $100; you might check
with a company that specializes in Amiga stuff to find one.
