Bingo!
With SAM, you establish a TCP/IP connection to the net, using your Apple
IIGS, and SAM sends/receives mail directly to and from mail servers.
In other words, to send or receive e-mail, IIGS users don't need to use
Pine anymore !!
SAM handles all of the most common forms of e-mail attachments (BinScii,
BinHex, Base64, etc), has built-in support for spell checking your
out-going mail (NiftySpell required) and quite frankly...SAM supplies a
solution that is desperately needed by IIGS users as dial up shell
accounts become rarer and rarer.

I think I can just about guarantee that no one who uses a IIGS to access
the net will be disappointed with Spectrum Automated Mailer! I've been
using it myself for almost 2 months, and all I can say is, "WOW!! Thank
