You can convert Mac TrueType fonts to IIGS bitmap fonts using a
program called Pointless from Shareware Solutions II. The main
reason you never hear about this Pointless capability is that with
Pointless, you can use Mac TrueType fonts, so why convert?
With Pointless, you will never again see jagged print or screen
fonts on the IIGS.
The auxtype tells nothing. The IIGS reads this info within the
font file and with Pointless, it'll make use of the same info as
the Mac with regards to TrueType font files.
