Well, the real fantasy would be a new motherboard design that, like the
//GS, put the "slow" part logically and electrically to one side, and
kept it's fast side separate. Getting rid of the ][ slots and using the
real estate for on board SCSI and/or IDE and perhaps 3-4 PCI slots on
the fast side would be the ticket. Ditto for removing the memory slot
and using the space for 72 pin simm sockets. Well, if wishes were
fishes, no man would starve.
