C64 with SuperCPU does not surpass the IIGS. A machine is more
than the clock speed of its CPU. The IIGS can run software that
would be difficult if not impossible to run on a C64 even SuperCPU
enhanced.
That's why we have Wolf 3D, a web browser, and email software
while they do not. And of course the Ensoniq is the C64's sound
chip times 5 and taken to the next level. Both were actually
designed by the same people.
