Yes, I just downloaded the stack and checked it out. The information
about where to get the parts seems to be current with the exception of
where to get the fast 65816. As far as I know, Alltech no longer has
them so you have to get them from someone else or WDC.
For 32K cache you need one 0.3 mil to 0.6 mil adapter socket (Digi-Key
part number A502-ND), one 15ns SRAM (JDR part number HM62832-15) and
one 70ns SRAM (JDR part number HM62256LP-70).
You put the adapter socket in the leftmost TAG socket then put the
15ns SRAM in it then put the 70ns SRAM in the DATA socket immediately
to the right of that.
If you want 64K cache, get two of each of the parts above and set up
the right two sockets the same way you set up the left two with the
extra parts.
Digi-Key's web site is:
http://www.digikey.com
JDR's web site is:
http://www.jdr.com
The stack has full information on how to upgrade you ZipGSX and
includes the parts list with postal addresses and phone/fax numbers
for the sources in addition to the web site addresses. The stacks for
both the ZipGSX and TranswarpGS upgrades can be found at:
http://www.gno.org/pub/apple2/gs.specific/multimedia/hypercard/stacks
in the files zip.upgrade.shk and twgsUpgrade.shk respectively.
