Rubywand has a PC and so do I, but that does not mean the IIGS
gets no use because the PC is here.

Many people do not realize what the IIGS is capable of when fully
equipped. It can as easily produce a printed word processed page
with the same font set as the PC. Harmonie, AWGS, Pointless,
a hybrid Mac/PC TrueType library CD-ROM, and an ink-jet printer
(could be shared with a PC or Mac) are all that are needed. Plus
sufficient memory and hard drive space.

Now it is true that it may be a bit dedicated to go out and get a
IIGS and all the peripherals and software for it to get to that point,
but for those of use who have ALREADY done it, the IIGS really
is a different animal entirely and I have found it to continue to be
useful.

You would not be able to tell the difference in the printed output
from my IIGS word processor (AWGS) and my PC one (WP).
Scalable fonts, high resolution, and all.
