I understand exactly where Randy is coming from.  It is simply a fact that
anyone making new products for the Apple II line today is doing so as a
hobbyist, not as a businessperson.

It only makes sense to go where the market is.  God love Tony Diaz and Joko and
the few others who persist, but they are definitely in it for the love and not
the money.  Any objective analysis would show that they could make more money
in a more active market.  Of course, there's something to be said for having no
competition...  ;-)
