   I built my first computer out of parts too.  Heck, I still do that.  The
only way I can afford to.  My first Apple was a //e in late '83.  I bought a
spares kit motherboard and keyboard from the dealer I worked for.  Found some
bad drives, scrounged a power supply, and put all the stuff into a Wang dual
cassette drive case.  The keyboard was detachable.  The drives fit in where the
old cassette mechanisms were, and I squeezed everyhing else in under or behind
them.  I still have that machine to this day.
