According to all the magazines at the time the IIgs came out, the first
50,000 would have the signature.  I bought mine in December '86 and had to
wait for it to arrive from Cupertino.  It's got the signature, and I had the
ROM 0 and VGC chip replaced as soon as the dealer got the chips.  I've still
got it, it still works, and I wouldn't part with it for less than a million!
Anyone selling for less on eBay, just don't realize what they have.  :)
