Not to wipe out an Apple vendor, however, Aaron's post brings up an interesting
topic. We all know that Alltech is one of the few remaining Apple II supplies
of product. When they ship their Focus hard drives they include a lot of
software on the drive. Aaron indicates that his came with a "LEGAL" version of
AppleWorks that he paid $10 for. He did not mention receiving any
documentation, original program disks or any licensing agreement. How does
Aaron know that his copies are legal? Besides system software, what else comes
on the Focus drives? Any documentation, program disks or licensing agreements
come with any of teh software? Just some food for thought...
