Hi;

As to my email to supertimer, I tried all of this and still no go.

I even tried initialising the drive as a HFS partition with ADU, but
when I connected it to the MacSE/30, it did not show up on the
desktop. HD SC Setup said it was uninitialised or the drive map was
invalid.

Of cause if I initialise it on the MacSE/30 using HD SC Setup, on the
2gs I get the bloody 16k partition problem.

People have mentioned drive setup. Problem is the Mac system 6 and Mac
system 7.5.3 software I downloaded from the Apple site, does not seem
to have it as part of their components and the copy on my powerbook
1400 will not run as it is a PPC version.

If anyone can point me to a copy of drive setup that will run on the
MacSE/30 I will try it. Other than that I could get a cSCSI cale to
connect the drive to my powerbook and see what partitioning and
formating from there would do.

I still want too know why the old ADU will partition and the new
version will not :<
