As far as the Apple I, they made several hundred, but many were sent back to
Apple for trade in towards an Apple II.

Yes, when I worked for an Apple dealer in 1982, all that was out was the
Apple II+ and the Apple ///.

There was the //c, and the //c with the memory expansion connector. The //c
with the beige keycaps, and the one with the platinum keycaps. All those
machines were white. And of course the platinum //c+.

The //e had the Rev A motherboard at first. Then the Rev B (added double
hi-res graphics), And I have seen a Rev C motherboard, but don't know the
differences. the PAL version for foreign markets, the platinum //e with the
enhanced keyboard and slightly redsigned motherboard. The beige //e's had
keycaps with white letters at first, then the smaller black letters later.

The II and II+ started off with a Rev 0 motherboard, then went to a 1. Then
a 4 (2 and 3 were never released), then 7, (no 5 & 6 either) then A, then C,
then D. Then there was RFI versions, I believe starting with the Rev 7 above.
There was the Apple II Europlus, the J model (saw one on ebay once), the Bell &
Howell model, etc.....

It does get complicated doesn't it?
