<<Does Adobe make Acrobat Reader for Apple II or GS?>>
No! I sure wish they did or that somebody would. But, that's not likely.
I use their Mac PPC v4.0 Acrobat Reader, and do both graphics page
capture/convert and text page content capture/convert to ASCII text files.
Then I select a conversion format with the graphics to either; GIF, JPEG or -
(if a good quality graphic is possible with them) - even a IIgs SHR (in gray
scale or color conversion ) may look OK. I use Debabelizer for this. The text
can be done with a simple Mac desktop cut or copy and past into BB Edit for
saving as a standard ASCII text file format at 80 col.
Then if the PDF file content is useful to the Apple II users, with its
information and graphics contents - I'll make a ShrinkIt (SHK) archive of it
all and make it available from either my own web site or select Apple II ftp
sites.
Hope that information is helpful to you.
Cheers,
Tom
