Yup, that would be me. I was just wondering what prompted anonymous the
anonymous flaming...and now I have an idea.
Dead, meaning not officially supported by the hardware maker? Ok, that
definition fits (re: Apple II platform itself). Dead, meaning, not
supported by legions of fanboys and flighty Mhz addicts? Dead, meaning
not supported by mainstream, or substantial programming houses? I think
you have to measure death of a platform in terms of its user base -- the
platform dies when there is no longer a critical mass to innovate for
it. Yet, we are seeing innovations here, both h/w and s/w for the Apple
II...
I think the burial's a bit premature...
