Not to knock the efforts on this, but isn't hardware development usually pretty
expensive? I can't remember what CMD's accellerator for the C-64 was, but I
seem to remember it was rather pricey.
I agree that the going rate for used accellerators that are at least 8 years old
that border on the retail price is rediculous, but there's no telling that a new
custom board won't cost at least that much.
Of course it's easier to shell out that sort of money on something new.
