Thanks for the suggestions...
It hadn't occured to me to log in as the owner on the Mac, for some
reason this appears to work...sort of. I can see the HDD and CD-Rom,
but the shared folder shows up simply as "Untitled #1" and if I try to
access it, I get an error reporting an invalid startup setup, or
something similiar. However, I can access the drive directly and browse
to the shared directory, so that's a problem for another day.
But, I've got the Finder copied over and it seems to be running ok.
I'll still have to try to find out why I can only log in as Owner and
can't see the shared folders. But it's certainly better than what it
was doing before (Nothing!).
