Me too. Sorry Platinum Paint fans, but in print quality, AWGS
paint module is far superior. This is because like the TrueType
text, many of the tools in the AWGS paint module are actually
draw tools. The lines, boxes, ovals, curves, etc., are all draw
tools which are rendered using QuickDraw. This means that
they are resolution independent. The picture will look good on
the screen and will look good on a 1200x1200 printer.
Only some of the tools, though. As long as you avoid the paint
tools like the pencil and concentrate on using the draw tools
like the line tool, then your AWGS paint module pictures will
ALWAYS print sharp no matter how good your printer is. And
that IS after all the point in getting a good printer. ;-)
