And on that note, why not produce something similar to AE's Romdrive from
way back then. I never had one, so I don't know the specifics, but I presume
it had a battery backup. Couldn't something be designed based on a battery
back up system? How much power would regular SIMMs consume on a regular
basis? Would standard lithium batteries be OK, or perhaps having a DC adapter
to plug into the card, and then to a regular AC outlet, or even a UPS.
