LED? I thought the Apple II Disk ][ had no LED but depended on the
mechanical movement of a microswitch to detect the presence or absence
of the write-enable notch. The switch moves up (to write-protect
position) when you put in the disk, then drops back down (to write-
enable position) if the disk jacket has a notch in the correct
location. No LED.
