--> Make sure both sides are running full duplex. Yes, ProTERM _does_
support TTY, right OOTB. ANSI is (almost) the same on both sides.
(ProTERM doesn't handle it as well) HyperTerminal (which sucks) can
do TTY, right OOTB, as well. So you could use ANSI/ANSI or TTY/TTY.
Use Zmodem to xfer your files and either side _should_ be able to
auto-start from the signal from the other side. No guarantees,
though, as HyperTerminal (Basic) doesn't handle some things well
(such as `saving' the VT100 setting, when it's been selected) and
ProTERM doesn't handle some things well (such as mis-handling CR's
in some forms of TXT files from the PC-side of life, or not doing
a great job of VT100 emulation - especially cursor control, cursor
positioning, screen-wipes, etc.) This has been my experience with
both (though not together) and YMMV . . .
