Beagle Brothers published a trick that let you get the three missing ASCII
characters [ \ _ on the Apple ][+ by using the "phantom key" property of
the keyboard.
(Actually, I think that "phantom key" syndome is a property of many keyboard
without N-key rollover, not just the Apple one. Old HP calculators had it,
for example. That's how you could get to the undocumented timer on the HP45.)
