I won an arm-wrestling contest to score a beta testing spot.  The
firmware is orders of magnitude more complex than any of the other CF
solutions, so that's taken more time than he originally bargained for,
I think.  But we're down to feature requests as opposed to bug fixes
now.  I think it's plenty useable as it is now, and way ahead of the
prior generation - but Rich is a bit of a perfectionist.

As to hearing back from Rich, when I've sent notes to express interest
in a board run in the past, I normally haven't heard back until the
board was ready to be ordered.
