RGB/IIGS monitor prob

Hello.

I read the RGB discussions and found them very interesting, however,
didnt help me.

I just recently got a used Macintosh 12" RGB Display monitor (M1299)
that I was hoping I could use on my IIgs. So my first question is, will
it work in the first place?

When I first tried it, it had horizontal and vertical stabilizong
problems, so I opened the case and fixed that(Ive had previous
experiences). However, no matter what I do, I still have a picture wrap
around, wrapping half way around. Also, there is two black columns with
seems like blue lines have been inserted between every other line. Any
help with this would be really appreciated. Thank you for your time.
