Hi Steve,
Concerning your request on the Numeric keypad and connection ofit to the Apple
II (IIe??) motherboard... the IIe system that I rescued from the dumpster last
week - has one of these on it and it's connected with a rainbow colored 10 wire
cable inside of the back female 15 pin input connector - just as you outlined
in your post.  It has no card involved and simply connects to the motherboard
male pin connector socket labeled "NUMERIC KEY PAD" on the mid-left and far
side of the motherboard (as you look down at it from the back of the computer
to the front).  At least that's how it goes on this standard 64k stock IIe
model.

Save yourself the hassle of making the cable and connector.  If you'd like, I
can include it with the items I'm mailing out to you on Monday.  So, let me
know.
